Casey is a Colorado native who recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a nursing degree. She is pursuing her dream of becoming a pediatric nurse!
She’s been doing CrossFit since 2017 and was instantly hooked. She initially began CrossFit to relive the stress of nursing school but stayed for the amazing community, competitive atmosphere and the health benefits.
When she’s not at the gym she’s backpacking, mountain biking or eating snacks!

Elissa has worked in the fitness industry for 11 years. She started out doing personal training and worked in several large gyms before finding CrossFit in 2012.
“I knew after my intro session and a couple hours of coughing later, that CrossFit was for me and that I wanted to be a coach someday.”
She coached full time in Las Vegas at CF Max Effort until her first son arrived. We moved to Colorado in 2016 and I started coaching again at CrossFit Sanitas, where I coached for 3 years until I had my 2nd son last year.
“I’m excited to be part of a fitness community again and can’t wait to share my experiences.”
Coach
Affectionately known as “Em” or “Doc” Emily began coaching in 2013 and has trained all levels of crossfit.
Her favorite part of coaching is being able to relate with members and share knowledge she has accrued over the years. She enjoys watching people transform through and tackle the sport. She especially loves teaching Olympic weightlifting and helping a lifter be able to approach the barbell with strength and confidence.
“I love the community at Koda and am so excited to help everyone in whatever way I can!”
Coach
Maggie began coaching Crossfit in 2013. Since then, She has had a passion for helping people move better.
“I am so motivated to help others reach their full potential because I know how important it is for mental health and self confidence. I couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity to coach at the best gym in Colorado! P.S. Arguably the best oldies playlist in the Crossfit scene. Hate it or love it.”
Coach

Roxanne became involved in Crossift in 2016 after some peer pressure from her friends. It didn't take long for her to fall in love with the sport and the community. Crossfit has helped turn Roxanne's old lifestyle into a healthier, more robust lifestyle. Roxanne earned her level 1 in 2018 and started coaching at a local Crossfit gym in Louisville. "I love to help people become a better version of themselves. When I see a big smile on someone's face after they PR'd, or got that set of 3 toes to bar in a row, or got a faster time on a workout........ it brings me joy. Knowing that I made a tangible impact and helped someone is why I coach". Koda Crossfit has given me a second family, a safe place to be myself, and the confidence and strength to carry in my everyday life.
Coach
Coach William is a Colorado Native with a love for his state. William runs a personal training and nutrition coaching company with his wife Kaylie. Whether they are in the gym or shredding some powder in the mountains, they are accompanied by their two doodles, Gretzky and Duncan.
“My wife worked at Koda before me and every time we’d drive by, she’d be staring at Koda, seeing what cars were there and if people were working outside. I used to think she was crazy but now I do the same. Koda is a place I can’t wait to go because I know I’ll be surrounded by community but also be pushed to be better, both as a coach and as an athlete. I freaking love this place.”
